Jill McCorkle is the author of Ferris Beach, Tending to Virginia, Carolina Moon, and most recently Final Vinal Days published by Algonquin Books. Her fiction has been four times selected for the New York Times Book Review Notable Books of the Year list. Her collection of stories Crash Diet won the New England Booksellers Award for fiction in 1993. Her work appears in numerous popular magazines.
Jill McCorkle currently teaches creative writing at Harvard University and Bennington College. She lives with her husband and two small children near Boston.
